It doesn’t have a name at J.P. Weigand’s downtown Wichita headquarters, but if it did, it would be called “The Weigand Way.”

Here’s what The Weigand Way is: The deal doesn’t matter as much as the people who make it and the integrity they display in making it.

“It was a very clear message that my grandfather and father sent to Mike and myself,” says Nestor Weigand, president and CEO of Wichita’s largest real estate firm. “The integrity of the deal was more important than making the transaction. If you have to make the deal without integrity, then don’t do it.”
