Austin joined J.P. Weigand & Sons Commercial in 2018, bringing with him three years of experience as a business consultant at Grant Thornton. Since joining Weigand, he has quickly established himself as a leading producer in the commercial real estate sector, earning recognition with the “RSCK Commercial Rookie of the Year” and “Rising Star” awards in 2018. Demonstrating consistent excellence, Austin has received the “Master’s Circle” designation annually since 2019.
Throughout his career, Austin has managed hundreds of commercial sales and leasing transactions, covering a wide range of asset classes such as retail, multifamily, office, investment, industrial, and land. His clientele includes both national brands and local companies, reflecting his versatility and broad industry reach.
In 2023, Austin achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, underscoring his expertise in commercial investment. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Kansas CCIM Chapter, further highlighting his commitment to professional leadership in the field.
Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Kansas. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Realtors of South Central Kansas (RSCK), Kansas Association of Realtors (KAR), and both the national and Kansas chapters of CCIM.
