Austin joined J.P. Weigand & Sons Commercial Division in early 2018 after having spent three years working as a consultant for Grant Thornton in Kansas City. During his time at Grant Thornton, Austin worked in the Business Consulting & Technology practice where he assisted clients across the country improve their accounting and finance processes. Since joining Weigand, he has been recognized as a strong producer in the real estate community. Austin was awarded the REALTORS® of South Central Kansas “Commercial Rookie of the Year” and “Rising Star” distinctions for his work in 2018. Additionally, he has also been honored six times since 2019 as a “Master’s Circle” recipient from RSCK.
Since 2018, Austin has handled more than $20,000,000 in real estate transactions across multiple asset classes, including retail, multifamily, office, investment, industrial, and land. His diverse client list includes multiple national brands as well as many local concepts. In 2023, he earned the prestigious CCIM designation making him a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Austin brings his strong financial background, tireless work ethic, and passion for commercial real estate to every client relationship.
Austin is a Wichita native and when he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid golfer and proud alumni of the University of Kansas.
