A group of developers have plans to turn the Christian Faith Centre building into affordable housing and commercial uses along South Broadway.
That will add to other efforts to revitalize the south Wichita neighborhood.
Breakthrough Wichita and Springfield, Missouri-based The Vecino Group are proposing 50 units in the church property at 1130 S. Broadway through federal and state low-income housing tax credits. It will have a mix of one- and two-bedroom units.
