A Wichita real-estate legend who was known throughout Kansas, throughout the U.S. and world in real-estate circles has died, and this week’s BizTalk podcast looks back at his career.
Nestor Weigand Jr. died Wednesday at the age of 84. The leader of J.P. Weigand & Sons Inc. for 40 years, who was also part of his grandfather’s company for another 20-plus years, was a king in the city’s real-estate scene.
